MaldivesResearch was incorporated in England on 25 March 2008 as a charitable company under the laws of England and Wales. This allows MaldivesResearch to conduct its business as a charity in the United Kingdom.

Following the incorporation, MaldivesResearch invites interested parties to contribute financially and otherwise to support its work.
